Informed by more than twenty years experience as a practicing artist, the course is now heading into its fifth year with regular workshops taking place on Sunday afternoons and Tuesday evenings.
Based in the creative heart of Canberra at the historic Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres, the course is complimented by masterclasses and weekend workshops held at locations around Canberra and beyond.
Eye to Hand welcomes young artists from thirteen years of age, creative professionals, complete beginners and people with all levels of ability. Members of the community who have not had the opportunity to engage in formal art training are especially welcome to attend.
Genevieve Swifte works between drawing, photography and video, she has a PhD from the ANU School of Art and Design and is a resident artist at the Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres in Braddon ACT. Her work is held in public and private collections both here in Australia and Internationally.
